Yet another update

September 11th, 2007 | by FilesTube.team |

Hello FilesTubers,

During the last couple of weeks we were developing some enhancements to your favorite file search engine.

1. User accounts.

Now you can create a FilesTube account, tag and comment your search results. There are many more personalization features to come so be sure to grab your accounts while they’re hot.

2. Detailed file information.

Every search result has its own page with file details, user ratings, comments and more.

3. Password search.

Tired of password protected archives? Now you can perform an automated search for passwords directly from every file’s detail page!

4. FilesTube navigation bar.

After navigation to file download locations FilesTube options are still available, enabling you to easily rate and report files during and after downloading.

Some enhancements and fixes were also made to FilesTube core, so expect more accurate searches.

Regards,

FilesTube team

I’m new to this site so I don’t know in which way this has already been covered in another discussion, but I’m finding it hard to find anything when searching for a string.
Like for example when I search for the string “one way”, it shows me everything that has “one” or “way” in it, not primarily somthing that has both in it!
    cheers,

    Hello fetscher,

If you want your search to return relevant results for a multi-word query, you should place quotation marks around your phrase or prefix the words with a plus sign (+). For example:

    “one way”
    +one +way
